Webster-Thomas High's MJ Wells is Staying Close to Home with the Statesmen

Webster-Thomas HS (NY) SR RB/LB MJ Wells took to twitter recently to state that:

"I am excited to announce my commitment to Hobart to continue my academic and football journey. I would like to start by thanking my mom and my family for guiding me along the way and helping make the right the decision thank you. I would also like to thank my coaches as-well as teammates for helping me get better and motivating me to push through. Finally, I would like to thank the coaches at Hobart for believing me and giving me this opportunity to play at the next level."

With his hometown only about an hour away, MJ's family won't have to travel far to see his home games in Geneva. Standing 6' and weighing 200 lbs., MJ shows a lot of the skills we've come to expect from Statesmen LBers. You can see for yourself here.
