This Anniversary is "Comin Atcha"

Tonight the 14th ranked Hobart College Statesmen will travel to scrimmage future Liberty League member, Buffalo State. Kickoff is slated for 7 pm. This will be a good measuring stick against a solid Bengals team that D3football.com picked to finish in the middle of the Empire 8 conference.

Today also happens to be the 8th anniversary for this website. Yep, back on 8/24/09 I ventured into the "blogosphere" after a few years of posting Hobart Football game previews, recaps and analysis via emails to friends and on D3boards.com under a couple of different handles.

As sort of a #TBT, here's what inspired the name for this space, the 1992 Statesmen slogan (which made it onto this bumper sticker), shown below:

This will be the 9th season of "Comin Atcha - Hobart College Football Weekly", and it's shaping up to be a great one. Next week I'll have some analysis on the Week 1 home and season opener vs. Brockport, some feedback on the Buff State scrimmage and perhaps an update on the status of "In The HuddLLe", which is heading into it's 10th season of covering the Liberty League and East Region D3FB.
