And just like that, it's May.
HC Kevin DeWall '00 tweeted out another group of new recruits this morning. It's another relatively new group, so let's get to know them.
Starting off is Westfield HS (MA) WR/DB Andrew Scott. He has good size (6' 1" and 180 lbs.) and speed (4.6 40-yard dash). You can check out his highlights here.
Up next is another recruit from the Garden State, OL Ashton Mejias from Red Bank Catholic HS (NJ). Ashton projects to be an interior OL, either at guard or center. He has good size (6' 2" and 278 lbs.). You can check out his highlights here.
Next is speedster WR/DB Sam Sklar from Red Land HS (PA). I posted about him back in February.
Last, but not least is the first of at least two recruits from Cardinal Hayes HS (NY). Denzel Silver is an interesting prospect, having played TE, DE/DT and OL. At 6' 3" 265 lbs. he has the size to plug in to wherever the coaching staff thinks he'll be best utilized. On tape he projects as an OL/DL however, able to pass protect and/or rush.
