Class of 2017!!!!! My new home #HobartFootball instagr.am/p/W2dh_gLjyw/
Thorton is listed at 6' 220 lbs was co-captain for the Pride which finished 5-2 in the competitive Erickson (NE/NY Prep School) Conference, 5-3 overall in 2012. He looks like he has good speed and "football smarts" (e.g., causing fumbles, good anticipation in plugging gaps). My guess is he comes in as a LB but could be utilized as a FB, pending personnel decisions by the coaching staff.
Thornton rushed for 782 yards (97.8 YPG average) with 11 rushing TDs. On defense he recorded 58 total tackles, a sack, fumble recovery and interception. Although it's not stated explicitly, I believe the FR was for a TD in what was a lopsided 37-7 win over Berkshire last October.
Well I guess, He has a natural talent in football and even he has a weight of 6' 220 lbs he can still run fast. And for sure he will become better player if he get more experience in football.
