Remembering Andy #NeverForget911

Each year on this date it's good to reflect and remember the events of 9/11/01.  They were tragic, terrible and changed our society, if not world, forever.

That day Hobart College lost three alumni, Scott Rohner '01, Michael Simon '83 and my former teammate Andrew Glokin '93, who's wearing #37 in the Hobart Football team photo below.

In memory of Andy I hope everyone will consider a donation of any size to the Andrew Golkin Memorial Scholarship Fund:

  1. This was like a poor high school football game. Hobart lack runners. Not one of the backs has speed, strength, explosiveness, etc. The first 10 runs by #10 averaged about 1 yard, and included a fumble. #35 lacks speed and drive. The Oline was a joke. Good thing the opposing team'a quarerback sucked otherwise Hobart would have lost. IfHobart doesn't develop some running back they are toast. Rumor has it this is a dry year for Hobart-I sure the coaches are out tonight pounding down the booze-it might help them forget -at least for a night.

  4. Hobart's glory days are over. Hobart has no running game, and the OL is weak. The runningbacks are slow, non-explosive, weak, can't read plays ect. Where's Burke- had big write up at the start of the season-had not 1 play? Defense is weak as well. Hobart should have lost last week. Time for a coaching overhaul. All comes back to poor coaching.
